What happens when I suspend my membership?

If you meet the eligibility for suspension, please note that:

  • We’ll suspend your membership in full (everyone on your membership will have their cover suspended)
  • You can suspend your membership for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 36 months
  • You must provide a resumption date when you apply
  • We can backdate the suspension for up to 2 months prior if you made no claims and can provide supporting documents.  

As you’d expect, you won’t be able to make any claims during your suspension period. 

If you haven’t served any waiting periods before the suspension, you’ll serve the balance when your membership resumes.
